Netball
Netball is a really fun sport to play especially when you are shooting. Most people say that netball is exactly the same as basketball, but it isn’t. There are many differences. For example, some differences are that in netball you can’t move with the ball (not even if you are continuously bouncing it). Also, you can only pivot round (so you can turn round in a circle) if you land one foot after the other. Did you know that netball nets are higher than basketball nets and in netball the net doesn’t have a backboard? There are five positions:Goal Keeper,Goal Defence,Centre,Goal Attack and Goal Shooter. In netball the pitch is split into three thirds. In the two end thirds there is a D and if you shoot you have to be in that D.I play for my school team and I really enjoy it. My mum played netball and my Nan played netball so it has gone through my family.
